In this episode of Corli's Critiques I talk about Tweak G's "Gawd Almighty".

Tweak G is a captivating lyricist. Her words stick to you and make you feel a special type of way. IN "Gawd Almighty" we get a glimpse of what goes on in the mind of Tweak. She speaks on how intimidating guys are by the fact that she's a woman.

I feel as though, this song is her ode to Black women in particular as she shouts out the late Nia Wilson.

The song samples Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" and they way Tweak flows over the beat makes it even more interesting.

In the video Tweak G visits her younger self, subliminally letting her know that a change is going to come for her.
